Must Haves for any Guitar Player:

A really strong fingering for B Flat Major. We'll start on A string on the first fret where we find our B Flat. B Flat has two flat notes. B Flat and E Flat and the rest of them are the normal note names. I;m going to show you a good fingering for the B Flat Major Scale. Our bottom note B Flat is going to be the first fret on the A string. C is the third fret on the same string. Now we play the open D string, one string higher. First fret will bring us to E Flat, third fret is F and now we play our open G. A is the second fret. And that brings us back to the B Flat on the third fret. One more time...

Honestly, it's easier starting on the low E using your middle finger on the 7th fret. The same fingering patter applies to all major scales and is easiest to starting learning from low E string. Then, you can apply the scale to other fingering patterns such as the one in this video.
