The best decision my husband and I ever made was to move from Ohio to North Dakota seven years ago. We left all our family and friends so we could give our kids a better life and be free of the liberal cities that were self-destructing all around us.

That’s pretty much it in a nutshell. I grew up in California. Moved to TN last year. Best choice for my family that my husband and I have EVER made. Cost of living aside, I can raise my kids in a much more wholesome environment.

Ben you forgot to mention that the Atlantic Ocean beaches in Florida are warm like bath water but the pacific beaches in LA are frigid!!!

35 years ago we left Brooklyn, NY. for a small town in Texas. Best thing we ever did.

When my brother-in-law visited Is in Ohio from Southern California he was amazed to find out there were three 18-hole golf courses within 5 miles of his hotel. He goggled at all of the golf stores. My city has a philharmonic and a symphonic orchestra and a nationally recognized ballet company. People in the big cities think all we do in the “flyover states“ is ride tractors. My wife worked for one of the biggest insurance companies in the country, I worked for the largest technical publication firm in the Midwest, right in our little town.
