I was use my Oculus VR Gear with S6 and i want to upgrade to S7 or S8 ? what is the better one ? my expirienc with the S6 was that after a few minutes online watching Video it becomes overheating. is it the same for S7 and S8 it seems for me that S7 have the better display with 577 PPI is that true ?

Yeah i love the S8+ Gear VR experience I used to experience overheating on the S7 Edge! But now with my S8+ it has 0 lags and overheating! :-)

The screen-door effect seems slightly less on the S8+ despite slightly lower pixel density, most likely due to larger subpixels. In intensive-graphic apps such as Altspace, the S8+ is noticeably smoother, more reliable, and capable of handling more activity without frame rate compromise. Also, while the S7 Edge needed to be cooled down after at most one hour of intensive use, the S8+ can run for several hours non-stop without overheating. In fact, since I started using the S8+ for VR it hasn't overheated once.

Can you *please* tell me which screen protector you have? I also have Spigen case. I found a glass one, but corners didnt match up completely with phone and a ton of dirt got under it.. yours seems a lot better.

Yeah The s8 plus does not have better picture qality. It only has 4k lol
