Marcy definitely has her demons from what she been through in Amphibia, with Darcy being her inner demon, literally! Fortunately Marcy learned from her mistakes and had friends that didn't truly give up on her. Glad that Marcy got a somewhat happy ending in the end.

She's one of the most tragic characters in Amphibia. First, she got told she would be moving and took the chance to strand herself and her friends in another world. She got betrayed by a person she'd grown attached to while spending time there - Andrias. She was killed by said person, thinking her friends hated her. Said person also had her be possessed by his eldritch-like biomechanical lord. And even when she was freed, she had to say goodbye to the world she'd flourished in and the friends she'd grown alongside. Why must they hurt her like that? 😢😢💚💚

i really think this is great and accurate as marcy has gone through a torturous amount of suffering and pain be that physcially and emontionally. before she got possesed she it would have been a great call back for her to say thank you, for everything

I definitely know how Marcy felt with that helmet lowered on her head. There once was a very scary attraction at Disney, it was Stitch’s Great Escape. They had those very uncomfortable shoulder restraints that hurt sooo bad. I felt sooo uncomfortable with the restraints lowering on us…I had that same uncomfortableness Marcy had. The moment the helmet lowered, I got Stitch’s Great Escape flashbacks when the restraints lowered, I got so scared.

I think it would still be cool if the artist said "-and wash away my culture." because they said "-circling like vultures.". That's what I thought when I first watched this video because I've never heard this song before I watched this video. But I still like the song. It's in my head.
