I like what you did and will use your video as a template.

The one thing I’ll do differently is also add dummy posts on each side where the deck extends to the pool which will eliminate anchoring two more 4x4’s in the ground.

I’ll need to beef up that area and 2-3 lag bolts per side.

For all those who can't be bothered to read through the comments: Cost was around $400 2 years ago, so probably close to double that now (2022). No list of materials available...watch the video and figure it out. No plans available...watch the video and figure it out (the deck is 6' x 7', the gate is 36" high, and the posts are set back from the pool 6-8", so start from there).
