HOF voting is ridiculous, I still want to know who the THREE voters were who left Ken Griffey Jr completely off their Ballot.

Wrap your mind around this: To break Pete Rose's hit record, a player would have to average 213 hits a year for 20 consecutive years! Mind boggling!

Any knowing player who used steroids that cheated the game should not be in the HOF! Bonds, Clemmons, AROD

Ortiz gets in but tested positive for peds in 2003 come on

Bonds never broke a baseball rule. Baseball didn't ban steroids until 2005. This whole thing is just emotionalism. Sports writers going on a power trip. It's ridiculous.

Stephen A is right
The fact that bonds the best player I ever saw
And pete rose maybe the best player ever aren’t in the HOF is a joke to Major League Baseball

Bonds is the greatest baseball player of all time. He should be in the hall of fame.

Baseball still maintains a sliver of integrity by keeping Bonds and Clemens out.

Roger, Barry, Mark, Sammy and Alex should all be in HOF.

What is almost always missing in these discussions about performance enhancing drugs and their use in sports is the fact that steroids were not illegal until 1990.
“From 1988 to 1990, congressional hearings were held to determine whether the Controlled Substances Act (1970) should be amended to include anabolic steroids…After two years of deliberations, Congress passed the Anabolic Steroid Control Act of 1990, thereby criminalizing possession of anabolic steroids without a valid prescription.

Think about it, athletes who played during the 70’s and 80’s and up until 1990 certainly could have been using performance enhancing drugs but they were never attacked or shamed because it wasn’t illegal to use them during their careers.

During this period, records of all sorts were set in MLB and the NFL as well as in the NHL and in the NBA. If we are being honest, how many of those players broke records, were voted into the hall of fames in their respective sports, and no one says a word about steroids or performance enhancing drugs in relation to them.

Stephen is a nut case and needs to go. Berry can forget about the HOF and move on with his life

MLB has made a ton of money off these steroid players. There biggest event every year is the Homerun Derby.. that derby at Fenway was epic. Ortiz deserves to be in the Hall, but you can't just ignore he's used steriods because he's a nice guy to the media

Roger Clemens no I think he used longer than we know, but Barry bonds only penalty should be to lose hr record and stats the last two yrs he played. He was Hof before the roids and he should be in.

More reasons why the MLB don’t have more viewers and more interest from the younger generations… 🤦‍♂️

I’ll need before and after skull measurements from Bonds before I can make a fair judgement

Lol...At this point the hall is a joke anyway. dont need the hall of fame anymore to validate one, s greatness when the best of their era are being kept out.

not before Pete Rose they don't.
Pete Rose never cheated.

The real crime here is the lack of consistency. They’ll vote in Ortiz, who wasn’t near the caliber player of these two, even though he was also implicated for PED use early in his career.

Pete Rose never DH'd an at-bat in his life! He earned **every** at-bat by taking his glove and playing defense in the field!
