“I hated my life before Scientology. I hated the way that it was going. I was always sad or mad. And I was never at cause and I was always upset. And with Scientology, like, that’s not—that’s not real anymore for me,” says Perla. “I have my moments where I like, you know, I get sad or upset about something, but it really is just a moment. And I’m right back up to being me and to looking at how I can be in control over that situation.”
