I wonder if people in high elo will abuse the avoid feature like way back in the day when really good widow players owned the whole lobby and people put them on the avoid list.

So what if people use it to target one tricks? They're welcome to do it, but it also works against them at times as well.

I can't think of many people that actively want to always be playing with the more situational characters like symm one tricks all the time, but those players (at least at higher ranks) tend to be better than your player on those characters, so if they're on your avoid list and you go against them on a beneficial map for them, you're at a disadvantage now.

Also not to argue for counter swapping too much but especially for support and dps for whom there are two players per team, you need to be at least functional at another character or two in case your one trick character gets sniped from you by faster load times.

What I hate about respawn is how far back they put you in that fucking thing. Three tracer blinks to get out. Have to switch characters quick to get my blinks back to go out again.

took this many years to get more avoid slots, I don't even want the pinned thing the issue wasn't that you could avoid someone in qp it was that it was permament, literally had they have it reset like every 2 months ( 3 months into the game is when T-500 players like that one widow were psuedo banned)

I no longer have to constantly deal with people that just spawn camp my team the entire time and I avoid people that can't even be arsed to step on the objective when no enemy is nearby

Cant believe OW players were too stupid to stop running in one at a time and creating a cycle of rotating respawm timers so Blizzard had to hard code a "hey, stop that" mechanic to make people spawn in "waves."

Its not enough, I need at least 100, 000 avoid teammate slots. Then I can finally begin to play the game without getting dragged down by baddies. Ofc queue times will be affected, that's why I need a speed boost at spawn. Its all coming together, guys😅

they should steal more stuff from tf2, they figure a lot of this out already. the respawns, the heal ramping, half the gamemodea are the same too
