Macs are actually WAY WAY less secure than most Windows computers. The thing is, Macs make up a much smaller percentage of computers used, so most viruses aren't made to be able to target them. It's easier to spread on PCs simply because of numbers, not because of security.

Interesting fact: the games that women play as a majority are casual, sim games and ios games. My grandmother is not a gamer by any stretch of the imagination and yet she falls under the category according to that study.

As a gamer who is female, I can tell you that I play a lot games. Be it online, on my n64 or my ps3 or my dsi, I do play games. I also like farmville, saints row, super Mario 64, any LoZ, and crappy Spider-Man games....

As stated previously, the final misconception does count games on phones... so taking phone (or "mobile") games out of the picture would reduce that number significantly. In that study, they asked people if they would consider themselves a "gamer"; someone who frequently plays video games.
