Received my RSP1-B from HRO yesterday and had it working on my MacBook within 15 minutes thanks to this video! Impressive sensitivity on this little gem.

I have the RSPduo receiver and SDRuno software. It was a steep learning curve trying to figure out how it all works, but after a few days I found the SDRplay very easy to use. What I like about SDR play, HF band noise rejection on CW and SSB is excellent, receiver sensitivity is excellent and bandwidth filters do a fine job at making a weak signal in noisy conditions very easy to copy. With 4 notch filters as standard, removing any tuner uppers and QRMers is very easy to do, and makes listening much easier on the ears. There are many other plus points I can think of, but generally speaking for me SDRplay is a great product for Ham radio!

They are neat little SDR's. I have one and it's fun to use. It just takes a very small learning curve but once click on the PLAY icon, you are pretty much up and running. There's some little tricks to learn but not necessary to learn to use the software.

Thanks. I've been using an RTL-SDR, and planning to get one of those, so watching a few videos. I just wish some would show it running with Linux rather than that MS program. I left Windows back when they tried to force me to "upgrade" to their Win 10 spyware.

After some more research than just this video, which, I also wish had more information ( and has some "editing issues" ) I bought one from HRO online with a 20% discount for Black Friday. I am looking forward to toying with it once I hook it up to a UHF/VHF/FM antenna to see how well it picks up things like local police & fire that isn't encrypted.

it's garbage, sent it back to the dealer and sent it back to me me saying it works. i'm contemplating sending it back to limey land in pieces but i don't want to waste money on shipping.
