So, I was just on YouTube like I always am and I put on my music playlist. I discovered this song yesterday so it was very close to the top and as I was listening to this song again, I thought: "I MUST edit with this. I am getting shivers over here."
Therefore, I did. I had some visual ideas already, planning it out in my head; I was going to use Advent Children as well, but that footage did NOT want to work in Adobe--it must be corrupted or something.

ANYWHO, when I decided to use Final Fantasy XV solely, not only was I much happier with just using that, but I also decided to dedicate this to Tess; you guys know her as seravhes.
I had been wanting to dedicate an edit to her for the past week as a gratification to her for spending a few days with me in my home city some days ago. (Those were honestly some of the best days of my whole damn life and I am not even half way through, I'm sure.)

Well, Tess, here we are, I present this super angsty edit because that's all I can edit with now?? I truly enjoyed editing this so much though and especially both of our husbands! I'M SO SORRY, I MADE ARDYN CRY, BUT I'M NOT SORRY. IT JUST HAD TO BE DONE, OKAY? YOU CAN SHOOT ME LATER. (I swear I am such an angstophile.)
When you see this in the morning, I'm hoping it manages to make you smile a bit, despite how tragic it is, of course. I wanted to show all the hardships and pain that these characters felt, specifically Ardyn and Noctis because they carry such heavy burdens but of very different kinds. I think we can both agree they deserve recognition for that and liberty from it. I think the song fits quite well. The "silence" that's being claimed is kind of like, the peace they finally have after death? After all their hardships, they can finally rest?

Edit aside, like I said a couple paragraphs ago, this is my "thank you" to you. Not just for last week, but for everything. This is just another penny in the jar that is contributing to all of the things that I will forever owe you for being the best friend I could ever ask for, for being my wise big sister that has always helped me through tough shit and for providing me with some of my most cherished moments. There's a plethora of other things, but I am sure you already know them very well. 8)
I will try and keep my "mushiness" to a minimum as I have been bothering you enough with all of that--as of late especially--in person and online (as I always do) and I am SURE it must be getting dated and annoying at this point.

THERE IS SO MUCH ANGST IN HERE
WHAT MAKES IT EVEN MORE HEARTBREAKING IS THAT YOU USED THIS SONG. just that voice alone is making me want to cry, now i have clips to go with them and it's getting even harder to contain myself.
my despair aside, this is gorgeous. utterly gorgeous. from the first second on i was captivated because your editing goes so well with angst in these kinds of songs. your style feels so...soft...here, if that makes sense and thus capturing the mood of the music perfectly. AND THE SCENES YOU CHOSE GOD DAMN IT WHY MUST YOU HURT ME SO, WOMAN?? I love angst, not denying that but the pain here is real man. you even made my man cry ffs, it's killing me. BUT HEY YOU USED HIM, THA ALONE MAKES ME HAPPY, EVEN THO IT HURTS LIKE SHIT. ♥ not gonna shoot you then. you're safe.
AND HOLY SHIT YOU USED RAVUS. WAS KIND OF HOPING THAT SHOULD YOU EVER USE HIM IN AN EDIT IT WOULD BE IN ANOTHER CONTEXT BUT I TAKE WHAT I CAN GET. even if it is seeing hims uffer and die. ;; same for precious luna *sobs*
waoh and I must say this song gives of so many noctis vibes or some THIS EDIT IS JUST PERFECT IN EVERY SENSE. each clip feels goes so well with the lyrics. angst at its maximum right here. so much meaning behind this song and after reading the description it makes so much sense why you would use all of them. all th eprecious babies deserve some peace ;; ♥

This is one of my fave edits from you now 8))) ♥ BUT EVEN THOUGH, YOU DIDNT HAVE TO THANK ME FOR LAST WEEK. I ENJOYED IT JUST AS MUCH AS YOU DID, and I told you that a billion times! :D and don't worry huehue, your mushiness is not getting onto my nerves, I'm literally the same so the feeling's mutual.

I have yet to comment on this but when I first watched this I immediately added this song to my playlist & I have listened to it every morning on the bus since, it's so enthralling. ;;♡;;

I don't know what to say about this video, I am purely awe-struck. It's so full of mesmeric vibes and very calming when combined with such a song. The clips, the typography, the glowing fades... all perfect yet again. ♥
