sure except as a human being, regardless of your religious beliefs... suffering has meaning. People are forged in the fires of suffering, they learn who they are, not by studying books, but by rising to the occasion. Either while suffering, or to prevent suffering. So suffering does have meaning, because in short Suffering is what keeps the cycle of good men hard times from repeating every year or two. If even that, suffering if what creates the Good Men who make Easy Times.

Better than seeing yourself as a helpless victim that is being personally attacked.

If this was true, Jesus wouldn’t have to be crucified. God doesn’t “explain away suffering”

It’s actually by the Suffering servant in Isaiah and his stripes that we are healed.

"the kind of God that we have decided to construct??"
We didn't "construct" GOD.
He constructed US❤

First off, this guy comes off as arrogant and condescending.
God/the Bible never says suffering has meaning like this man is saying. The Bible says suffering happens to everyone, but God is good, and he will be with you through it. He says he will turn it into something useful if we know him. It does not say you were destined to suffer in some specific way. This man is wrong in his interpretation of the beliefs of Christianity.
