Had me worried with this Yamcha ass title. Lol. Your real fans understand, brodie. Can’t get back up if you don’t get knocked down. Keep ascending and showing us the way. Much love, my dude

I like the family and day in the life videos now as someone who's looking forward to being a father one day, I love to see someone who transitioned into being a father like I hope to do one day.

what got me into this channel was randomly finding the yearly pushup video and then the client transformations. its also nice seeing an inside into your workouts that you did and then the workouts you were doing with panda. those things show that you are a good coach and an even better friend.

I've been a sub for prob 10 years or so since near the start of your channel. I think a few things happened over the years.
- I feel like as YouTube and the fitness community grew while you didn't grow with it. you kept your videos more personal. which isn't bad but its not what most people will watch.
- You took a few extended breaks which i think hurt the YouTube algorithm. One day it just stopped recommending me your videos on my feed. Same thing happened with ScottHarmen.
- A lot of ppl came back when you did the cosplay videos which was good but the main content of your channel is so drastically different it doesn't hold the same viewership.
- What brought me to your channel originally was watching the day in the life of lifting and eating. you'd explain your meals and why you do X with your workouts. I think that was the trend back then. Now YouTube moved past that. Not that those videos can't get views cause they do but you need more than that. Why watch you over anyone else that does it? Again im not trying to be mean but just a general question to ask yourself when you brand your channel to grow. You need a reason for ppl to watch your video over the new Will, DR Mike, Sam video.
- What makes your videos more enjoyable or exciting to click on?

If your goal is to grow your viewership back to its prime you may want to start looking outside the box you've been in for the last few years. Working with other creators is almost a must nowadays. You NEED to network and be in everyone's video's or talked about by other creators. I'm sure some other youtubers would let you come to their gym and film with them. Maybe reach out to DR Mike tell him who you are and would like him to put you through one of his workouts. Other ideas may be to find something unique about your channel that really brings in the views unique to your channel. The whole DBZ thing was really cool for awhile. when super came out you kinda hit a little bit more viewers but its really fallen off trend. Not saying to drop your branding but maybe expand it to something that more ppl can relate to. The Comicon /cosplay videos will almost always be fun to watch. You're physic is awesome and its super impressive you've maintained it for over a decade. People will always love watching your dress up into anime characters. There's a lot of girls who brand around doing cosplay. Maybe you could do videos around different cosplay and workouts to achieve the bodies of the anime character. Not sure if it would work but just a thought. Depends on execution and effort. Brining in other professional cosplay content creators in your videos would go a long way in terms of view as well.

Anyways if you read this I hope I could help you think about ways to grow your channel. Sorry If i came across as harsh. I do really want to help. Not a lot of OG tubers around anymore. You've always seemed to care about your viewers in a real way. So always appreciated your videos and personality. Wish you the best @gokuflex

You are one of the most positive people in the YouTube fitness community and, in my opinion, set a good example for how people should be. You treat people with respect and have fun while also crushing it in the gym. If I want to see more of anything, it would be more of that. You are doing great!

What I love about Matt Kido is we kinda grew up with him as a fanbase. Seeing him go from a young hustler NY back in 2016 era to now a father of two kids and back in Hawaii. Very wholesome journey. You never let us down brother, you just showed us what life is all about!

Man I remember those New York days with Terron AKA Black Broly and bearded Piccolo! That was also a stressful semester for me but those videos kept me motivated to keep training. I look forward to your content.

Been a subscriber for some years. I would agree that the vision/direction has been not so clear the last couple of years and consistent uploads haven't happened in quite some time. At the end of the day, it's your life and your channel, do what makes you and your family happy. We're here for you whatever you end up doing.

You changed my life man. I’ve been a subscriber for a long time, last year decided to start my fitness journey. Was 120 lbs, now 140lbs and the strongest I’ve ever been. Right now tryna kick nicotine from my life. Your vids have been a huge inspiration for me.
