1/16 Bruder Mack Granite Halfpipe RC Conversion

I tried to make an attempt at a video on how some of the things are done and how they work. The truck is all built on the stock Bruder plastic frame and it is what I call a TRUE Bruder conversion. I misspoke about the center rear axle support is made out of a 2" x 2" flat 6061 aluminum bar stock, not angle iron. The rear axles are made from 6061 aluminum 1.25"OD x 1"ID tube and have 4 - 25mm 200rpm 12V gear motors in them. The motors and receiver are powered by a single 320A fan cooled ESC. Powered by an Ovonic 3S 2200 Lipo battery under the hood. Flysky FS-T6 radio and matching receiver. The front axle in an aluminum aftermarket Tamiya style with my own custom built ocsillating mount. Steering servo is a MG995 and the bed lift is an Actuonix 140mm 150:1 6V RC linear actuator. The front and rear lights are 5mm LED's 2 red and 4 white. The 5 clearence lights are 3mm white LED bulbs. The paint that I used is Krylon All-In-One Gloss White for the cab and Gloss Smoke Gray for the box. The tires are LESU S-1213 rears and S-1216 fronts and are mounted on Xtra Speed Beadlock white wheels. Used brass 4mm shaft coupling adapter to 12mm hex to mount the wheels to the motor shafts.

SO MANY QUESTIONS.... I've wanted to do some Bruder conversions. Even though the secret is out, and they're no longer cheap! 😠😭
I'm not a great teacher either. But I can't find a decent (in ENGLISH) Bruder conversion video.

Do you sill build these? If so how much would one of the new Granite plow trucks with sanders run? The sander can just work mechanically as its supposed to, and lighting i would be able to do. want to do custom lighting that i specialize in but have been wanting to do a realistic plow truck. im afraid if i attempted this without a conversion kit id probably butcher it.

That’s a really good looking Mack! I have thought about up converting my Bruder Mack into an RC but it’s a lot more work than I have time for between a few time job and the fire department 😅

How did you wire Linear actuator? My actuator only has 2 a (neg-and pos+) and on my receiver it has 3 prongs (sig, pos, neg) thank you for your time

Great job! Are those 25GA370 motors? I'm asking because there are also 25GA310 motors which are shorter, and maybe you are using both so you know pros and cons.

Can i build one like that one using tamiya's 1/16 ford aeromax rc chassis? I have also those same rc4wd diesel steel wheels on the chassis already!
