Looks like the usual Press Turn system from SMT but combines some elements from Persona but being able to equip personas to all your party members to swap between so basically the best parts of Persona and SMT combat so that an instant 10/10 combat for me.

It's probably gonna be an unpopular opinion, but I feel like this is what people expected when they announced a "SMTxFE" game.

Like, am I crazy? It has the class system of FE, but the battle mechanics of SMT.

The only thing I don't like about this game is the time limit like Majora's Mask or Lightning Returns when the main protagonist is on their King Election campaign for each zone against their political opponents. That's what killed my excitement for this game.

Shin Megami Tensei's Press Turn System is very fun so I'm very much looking forward to this game and have been for a while now. reminds me a little of Digital Devil Saga, especially with the Synthesis skills. Hopefully we can cook very hard with some passives/skills especially on higher difficulties. A little sad I cannot really collect Demons because negotiation+fusion is very fun but this is an entirely new franchise taking inspiration from various titles that are all enjoyable in their own right, I really want to see what they're going for in the full game
