Wow! Thanks a lot Jerry! I am a 1.5 year golfer and tried every swing in Youtube! I played 3-4 months with single plane swing and then moved to traditional swing due to few classes! I am still suck at driver until today! I was pissed off yesterday because of the way I hit driver on Saturday. I hit almost 100 drives yesterday trying every swing and went back to single plane(Dechambeu style) got 60-70% consistency and thought this might be it. Today I searched in Youtube again for single plane driver and thank god your video is in first few and good title to catch my eye. The thing i took from your video is to lift the club before starting backswing(basically its like impact position), thought of trying it in range today. First driver shot after few practice swings, bang on the target, then 2, 3, 4..I hit only 10 drives(felt its pointless to hit more and went immediately to course), because all went to same area within few yards left/right, that's 100%. played 9 holes, 7/7 in the area I was targeting and golf become fun again :) Traditional swing, i used to hit 250-270 and today i averaged 280 and my best one was 315!

Now my question is, i am still planning to play my irons with tradition swing because I struggled in the past with long irons/woods/hybrid with single plane. Do you have any tips for long irons/woods? I am pretty decent with irons 60-70% GIR right now and I am scared to change to single plane for irons. Will it be okay to have two different planes for driver and irons? Most coaches say NO, so checking here with Youtube gurus :)

...AND it looks and sounds like you are hitting the ground behind the ball a touch. Used to do this before I learned the "right way" lol. Can't wait to try it again! Thank you.

69 yrs I have single plane, cant turn my hips so i set up left square my club face to desired target, so my arms go past my right leg swing like im hitting to right centerfield and now my drives are better i was continually hitting my tee shot into the ground. Hoping to break 80

Single plane or not : he starts the lower body first, stays behind the ball and drives the right elbow through. Well done !

I agree I went to the range the other day and was smacking the heck out of that ball straight down the middle though what a difference

What Driver are you using?, I like the way it sits behind the ball.

Really helpful to see your approach, great looking swing. Are you using a regular grip or do you have the right palm more turned in like the Grave's method?

Did you do the hip video yet. Do you swing into a flexed lead knee

It looks like your feet in your stance are aiming right, and your club is aiming slightly left. Is that correct or is it just the angle of the camera?

I saw you comment to someone else that you started videotaping every range session...that’s a really good idea. What camera setup do you use? I’ve thought about doing that but felt weird bringing a tripod every time
