Confession: I haven't watched in a while because I gave birth to our baby girl in September, BUT! I was looking at Dan when you were in the car like Damn Dan you looking slick and fancy like those daper guys in beard commercials. But I thought maybe it was just the hair cut. Then when you were near the farmers market I noticed the weight Dan has lost. WOW. That's so amazing, you two are kicking goals and you can really see it, especially in the face/neck area. I’m going to warn you because I don’t want you to be sad and I’ve been through this. We were so excited about so many houses and were out bid so many times. This is what I learned. #1 If that doesn’t work out you will find another dream home. #2 Beyond getting an inspection do not put any contingencies on your bid. #3 Pay for the closing costs and offer asking price as long as it’s worth it.

The home we ended up with was perfect for us but there were 3 perfect ones before it. When we pulled up to look at this house two other people pulled up right behind us and it had just been listed that day. We offer fuller ask and to pay closing. It was bank owned and we knew to give the bank what they wanted. We ended up getting this house.

I think the letter to the homeowners is a great idea! I hope everything works out but if it doesn’t you will find another great place!

Omg my neighbour actually said something similar about me when we had our first child 😂
He was a very difficult baby with colic etc so i was super sleep deprived so any spare time i had went on keeping the inside of our house tidy. Apparently this wasn't good enough for her as she loudly shouted outside for all our neighbours to hear that i need to stop sitting on my ass eating bonbons and go outside to clean up my backyard. It was so loud i actually heard her from inside my kitchen!
