Good day! Was there a surreptitious alliance between leaders of South Korea and of North Korea? The declaration of Martial Law is apparently placing the whole country under the same system of regiment of supposedly their foe. God bless!

Parliament has voted to lift the martial law 190-0 literally after only 2 hours and 34 minutes, but sadly, the martial law is still in effect

The declaration was opposed by the Democratic Party and some members of Yoon's People Power Party, and resulted in protests. Two hours later, on 4 Dec. despite attempts by security forces to prevent the vote, those MPs present in the National Assembly unanimously passed a motion to lift martial law 190–0. Yoon subsequently lifted martial law after a Cabinet meeting and the martial law command was disbanded.
South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol backed down on his declaration of martial law but the tumultuous six hours recalled the country’s dark pre-democracy period. The declaration was opposed by the Democratic Party and some members of Yoon's People Power Party, and resulted in protests. Two hours later, on 4 Dec. despite attempts by security forces to prevent the vote, those MPs present in the National Assembly unanimously passed a motion to lift martial law 190–0. Yoon subsequently lifted martial law after a Cabinet meeting and the martial law command was disbanded. he has been mired in several corruption scandals this year - including one involving the First Lady accepting a Dior bag, and another around stock manipulation.
Just last month he was forced to issue an apology on national TV, saying he was setting up an office overseeing the First Lady's duties. But he rejected a wider investigation, which opposition parties had been calling for.
Then this week, the opposition proposed slashing a major government budget bill - which cannot be vetoed. At the same time, the opposition moved to impeach cabinet members and several top prosecutors including the head of the government's audit agency for failing to investigate Yoon's First Lady.
