I've just discovered quite a big issue with this Jig which is not mentioned, but far from unknown after I googled about it. I was to the point of almost pulling my hairs out because of a knife didn't get sharpened identically on both sides.

Turns out, no knife with this jig will be sharpened identically, unless you readjust when turning, because it's not centered, the movable claw in the jig has a notch in it, that notch should be on the solid part of the jig.

Because of that design, it does so that 1 edge be off with a few degrees, unless you re adjust when turning to sharpen the other side. (That's a big deal when you have a Scandi grind that has a V edge put on to it, so you have to pretty much make a whole new bevel, that ended up in way more work and material taken off than necessary.)

My Tormek motor didn't last a year before it gave out. Chinese made junk like everything else.
