Solid gives a better lofi tone and probably works better with other comping, but if youre playing alone without any other instrumentation then the hollow might be better

Solid have a really lofi like tone, is really good for neo soul and neo jazz context, but maaaan, hollow have a sound that I listen and remember you instantly

Solid body has that guaranteed warmth, but the hollow is so much more crisp. For me it comes down to what you're ultimately looking for in result. But personally, the hollowbody speaks more

Scale lenght, pickup, pickup postition, pickup height, technique, the sound doesn't go through the hole carved in the wood to reach the pickup if you have two perfectly similar guitars and carve holes in one of them the sound will be the exact same
