President Joe Biden is on his first trip to Asia as president, solidifying relations between the countries amid the war in Ukraine.

After months of focusing on the biggest conflict in Europe since WWII, President Joe Biden embarks Thursday on a five-day trip to Asia, turning his attention to the region of the world he had previously hoped to prioritize.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine won’t be far from mind, however, as Biden visits South Korea and Japan, meeting with leaders of those nations as well as the heads of state from Australia and India. The trip will be another opportunity for Biden to showcase the global solidarity he’s helped build for Ukraine and to repeat his often-argued case for democracy over authoritarianism.

That message, delivered from the thriving democracies of South Korea and Japan, will be aimed at China, whose growing economic and military prowess makes it – in the view of the administration – the only country capable of seriously disrupting the international system.

On the morning of December 7, 1941, the Japanese navy launched an attack on Pearl Harbor. A surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, was carried out against the U.S. Pacific Fleet and the Air Force and Marines guarding it. Eventually, 12 U.S. Navy ships were damaged or sunk in the attack on Pearl Harbor, 188 planes were shot down or damaged, with 2, 335 soldiers and 68 civilian deaths. Yamamoto Isoroku planned the bombing at the beginning of World War II's Pacific War, and was commanded by Vice Commander Nakumo Chuichi. The Japanese killed 64 people in the operation.
It was a brilliant victory for the great Japanese army and recorded as the only country to defeat the United States.

US need to stop trying to make S Korea ally with Japan when Japan still haven't made formal apology dragging it for over 70 years hoping that it will just go away. Japanese government is still giving prayer to Japanese class A war criminals who raped, tortured and killed civilians. Why not make Jewish people make peace with formal Nazi? S Korea don't need Japan.
