fantastic! i just got one of these with the pulley onnthe transmission blown out. had to order the whole axel. put it all back together and wheels will not turn. watched this video and discovered that spring is missing. hopefully that is the problem and not a lenon part i bought! will the drive system turn the wheels without this spring attached? i

How did you get the spring on? Tried needle nose, they cant hold the tension of the spring. It slips out of the teeth long before the spring can engage the casting.

What is the trick to get the tension spring connected. From the deck to the transaxle, struggling with this currently.

Thanks. I need to send this to my "mechabis" they told me they couldn't fix mine that the spring was missing and dealer dosnt have it. Thank God I can google as it was the second hit lol.

This might’ve been helpful if you showed how the spring connects. It’s not obvious after you break it down to look and now my belt tension is way too high. I have the spring connected wrong. It’ll never slip, that’s for sure. It’s likely to shred the belt and the drive doesn’t work.

Do you have video showing a step by step replacement of the gearbox? I ordered the parts from the Yard Force supplier. The gearbox and belt arrived with no instructions. I called the supplier. They had no PDF or anything I could downland.

I have a Yard Force 22" 3N1 SP-SC rear drive mower and need to replace a broken belt, I haven't found any instructions how to do that. Can you explain the steps necessary to put a new belt on?

I jest pick one from the curb for free, to find out the blade is not moving, now I have an idea what to look for and I will try to fix it thank you

Transmission does not rotate. The cable pulling a lever on the transmission activates it. It is not like a Toro where the transmission rotates to tension the belt.
