Balos Beach Crete - Crete's 'Must See' Beach!

Elafonisi Beach on Crete gets all the credit for being the "must see" beach on the island, but in VFC's not-so-humble opinion, Balos is the beach ya gotta see as the "must do" of your trip.

You can grab a boat from Kissamos, but the way to go is to drive the mountain from Kissamos and do the short hike and stairs down to the beach. Those are undoubtedly the best views you're going to get!

The lagoons are marvelous, the water is perfect (maybe a bit chilly, lol, when you're coming from Key West) but Balos Beach is your slice of heaven on the island! Enjoy and check out my previous videos of Balos for more details on the drive in and the hike down!
