In this webcast, we discussed how using a top down approach might help us find candidates for example trades. We demonstrated how to do a simple scan to find all of the stocks in a specific sector, such as financials, which are also listed on the S&P500. We also showed how to save that scan for future use. We then placed 5 example trades: 4 were short put verticals and the fifth was a short call vertical. All the example trades were placed on the thinkorswim paperMoney platform.
