What’s the difference between platinum and white gold? 💍
Показать описание
🌟 Platinum is a pure white metal. It will not fade over time.
Nothing is added to our platinum alloy except for tiny amounts of ruthenium, which is another precious metal inside the platinum family.
Our platinum is 95% pure platinum. (Some jewelers offer 90%.)
Platinum is more dense than gold and will feel heavier in your hand. It’s got a nice weight to it!
Platinum is 30x rarer than gold!
Platinum is hypoallergenic.
Platinum may scratch slightly more easily than alloyed gold, but the color will stay the same. This is unlike white gold, which requires plating. (Pick your precious metal poison, so to speak!)
Not to worry! We offer free polishing annually.🤍
🌟 White gold starts out as yellow gold and is alloyed with other metals to increase its hardness and to make it white (or pink, in the case of rose gold).
White gold requires rhodium plating to give it that final bright, white look. It wears off over time, revealing the original warmer gold alloy.
Not to worry! We offer free rhodium plating annually for white gold rings.
18k gold contains 75% pure gold.
Our gold is recycled, and we use very fine alloys for durability and beauty. 💖
Pure gold is hypoallergenic, however, some people are sensitive to the other alloys added.
Platinum and white gold might look the same, but they are different enough to take a closer look!💍
