OMG, this movie was absolutely AMAZING and is a must-watch. 5 out of 5 is too low to give this movie musical. All future Hollywood movie musicals must follow Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical lead.

Dahl's stories are timeless but dark and takes a lot to really understand all its weirdness. Adapting Matilda into musical is the best thing ever done to his stories. Songs in musicals help us connect to the emotional depth of the characters and the story. This was brilliantly done and we need more like this because here's a planet full of incredibly talented kids and just watch them - they're loving it.

Way better than 1990s version! they didnt have the cheography, singing, rhythm, vocals, talent, organization, etc. The producers transformed a classical story into an amazing, addicted entertainment! The school song, hammer, revolting children, still holding my hand, chokey chant, Im a micrale, etc. 100x better!
