SPF doesn't guarantee you won't get burned. It means that a certain amount of time will pass before you burn if you have "normal" skin. If you have sensitive skin, much less time. And most people way underapply sunscreen. You need about a quarter to half dollar of lotion just for your face. When using spray, you need to spray, let it dry, spray again. Then respray every hour if in the water, about every two when out.
