D-League Finals foes team up for IECO Green Warriors campaign in Macau

AFTER conquering the 2018 PBA D-League Foundation Cup, the core of Go for Gold braces for another battle when it joins the 2018 Asia League Terrific 12 in Macau in September.
Gab Banal and Jai Reyes banner the Philippine side IECO Green Warriors in the invitational tournament. Also bolstering the squad is Conference MVP Jeff Viernes of Che'Lu Bar and Grill, which Go for Gold beat in the finals.
Go for Gold mainstays Matt Salem, Ron Dennison, Kris Porter, and Rey Publico are also part of the roster while former TNT import Richard Howell and New Mexico standout Sam Logwood backstop the team as its reinforcements.
Bankrolled by Blackwater big boss Dioceldo Sy, the team has yet to finalize its roster as three more names are still to be announced.
Ariel Vanguardia will partner with Go for Gold coach Charles Tiu in calling the shots for the team in the tournament set from September 18 to 23 at Studio City Event Center in Macau.
Also joining the invitational tourney are Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) teams Shandong Hi-speed Golden Stars, Xinjiang Flying Tigers, Zhejiang Guangsha Lions, and Guangzhou Long Lions, Japanese B.League squads Chiba Jets, Ryukyu Golden Kings, and Nagoya Diamond Dolphins, Korean Basketball League (KBL) teams Seoul Samsung Thunders and Mobis Phoebus, Taiwanese SBL sides Fubon Braves and Yulon Luxgen Dinos, and another Philippine team yet to be determined.
