In this video, Michael Naaktgeboren teaches students how to solve two-step word problems using eight steps: read the story, underline the question, write a sentence with a blank, ask if you are comparing to determine which model to use, draw and label the model, use the algorithms necessary to solve the problems, check the algorithms using the opposite operation, and place the answer in the sentence on the blank.
