In this video, I will talk to you about Inflation, what it is and why it matter, and why this is one of the main reasons you need to seriously look at investing your earned money in order to protect and grow your wealth over time.

Inflation is the decline of purchasing power of a given currency over time. A quantitative estimate of the rate at which the decline in purchasing power occurs can be reflected in the increase of an average price level of a basket of selected goods and services in an economy over some period of time. The rise in the general level of prices often expressed as a percentage, means that a unit of currency effectively buys less than it did in prior periods.

Why this matters is important. Because even though it seems like only a few percentages drop here and there, over time those will greatly reduce your purchasing power. That’s why it is important to fight inflation and invest your money in things that return a greater percentage growth than the rate of inflation.
The worst is keeping your money in a savings account where you get zero or negative interest, that way you are surely going to get poorer over time.
I suggest investing in real estate, stocks, or ETFs as those are natural hedges against inflation and allow you to protect and grow your money and as such your net worth over time.

The primary benefit of investing during inflation, of course, is to preserve your portfolio's buying power. The second reason is that you want to keep your nest egg growing. It can also lead you to diversify, which is always worth considering. Spreading the risk across a variety of holdings is a time-honored method of portfolio construction that is as applicable to inflation-fighting strategies as it is to asset-growth strategies.

Inflation is a serious concern so look at it carefully, understand it and act accordingly to protect your money.
