I'm going to show you how to set up a Windows XP virtual machine utilizing Oracle VM VirtualBox so you can play toe original Sims 1 on PC. The original Sims doesn't just work out of the box on modern operating systems like Windows 10 and Windows 7. We can set up Windows XP for free on our Windows 10 machines in 2020 so we can play this game.

Virtualbox seems to just be outright buggy. The VM will run once, but once you close it, it won't run again. I'm glad I created a partition just for VMs because I had to format the partition that the VM was on in order to create a new VM! Every single time I used Virtualbox this occurred. It's not worth the hassle of doing this every time I want to play Diablo 2. On the other hand, Hyper-V worked without any problems.

Thanks for the video, i tried years ago installing NFS 3 in a XP virtual machine and it was slow. Looks like Sims 1 with expansions works fine!
