Pope Francis appeared at the window of his papal apartment in St Peter’s Square in Vatican City on Sept 1, asking for prayers during his Angelus address ahead of his Asia-Pacific tour. This will be his longest journey yet, where he will be spending 12 days across four countries – Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste and Singapore.
