We planned to visit Harrison Hot Springs Resort: The Best Mineral Hot Springs in the World on my Birthday.
The Harrison Hot Springs Resort is just 1.5-2 hours drive from Vancouver, Surrey or Burnaby. This is an easy destination for a great weekend trip and an amazing place to unwind and relax. There are 2 routes for the drive, one is Highway 1 from Langley, Abbotsford and Chilliwack and the other one is Highway 7 from Maple Ridge & Mission. Both of the routes have their own pros and cons, but the highway 7 is the more scenic route.
We decided to take 1 route while going and the other one while returning so it was fun. We chose Harrison Hot Springs Resort for our stay in Harrison because we were going for the first time and the Hot Pools in the resort are the main attractions of this town apart from the great lake views.
The natural healing hot springs which are used to power the internal pools of the resort are amazing. The experience at the hotel is also great, and the service at the hotel is perfect. The hotel has a number of restaurants and cafe which can serve your eating needs or you can even walk to plenty of restaurants on the lake shore.
