I take Clonidine for PTSD & seems to do alright. Just I notice if I stop taking it, my HR seems to go really high for a couple days. I know you can get rebound hypertension, just never thought it would make HR go ⬆️

I’ve taken this at 100mcg-200mcg for chronic insomnia for about 5 months and it rarely fails to put me to sleep. Not many sleep aids work for me and I’ve tried them all.
I had some side effects for the first ~1 month, dry mouth, dry eyes, constipation, dizziness and tinnitus. They’ve mostly gone now.

Clonidine works amazingly for my flushing of the cheeks. I have social anxiety and anxiety in general, and I can say that without this medication, there would be no way I would be able to function or go out in public. Work is a struggle and always will be. I will, sadly, always fight flushing at a workplace job. It requires stimulation at someone else’s pace, which doesn’t work well for me physically or mentally. My blood pressure shoots through the roof, and I become a red, blushed/flushed tomato. It’s a horrible, stupid problem that I wish upon no one.

Drug withdrawal treatment, nicotine being one of them. Don't know about its efficacy with migraine sufferers. Depends on the knowledge of the clinicians. Depends then, on whom you ask.

I take 2 clonidine and a melatonin just to have a chance to fall asleep
