My wife had polio as a toddler in 1944, and recovered to the point where she had a thin right leg and a mild limp. Then PPS came around 2000 with tiredness, and she went down to 50% and then 25% work, finally retiring when she was 62. After that she got two canes to retain her mobility, and in 2014 starting using a wheelchair. Heart failure took her in 2020.

I got Polio at the age of 2 and now I have pps, I'm 76 years old, I have good days and bad days, but very blessed.
