hit gm voltaic with this exact method (besides 4 and 5), extremely surprised more top level players don't do this. This is how I started aim training because I've always thought the rep count on scenarios is dumb lol

score threshold is great, not only has it helped me achieve higher scores and made me more consistent, it has also given me a clear goal instead of just running through a playlist mindlessly.

Day 91 of aim training: I don’t know how much longer I can last…my wife has left me, food stocks are all but depleted, and the water company is threatening to cut off my water supply…but Matty said I cannot move on until I hit my score threshold, time for attempt number…shit I’ve lost count

this is how i naturally warmup with a couple scenarios, but this as a playlist is a good idea

After getting into aim trainers and seeing how rewarding it is to pb that's roughly the routine that I fell into. When you start looking for those pbs every run you really start to understand what factors play into your consistency. The obsessive score grind doesn't exactly help your main game aim but the knowledge of what makes that consistent performance has

You know this is kinda what I have been doing to improve and where I got this from is the concept of progressive overload at the gym. So basically every gym session you should be trying to improve by a rep or going up in weight and ironically this very effective gym method is very effective in aim training.

i subconsciously started using that exact method last year and i am now very close very close to GM. however i regularly go back to easy scenarios/playlists and mix them in as well in order to not burn out as quickly and build better habits.

I always struggle with stress tolerance with this type of training. It seems like it can be tricky finding thresholds that are satisfying and realistic. Love the FFX boss music btw

I love it because its similar to the way I developed my aim training routines. I hate investing my time poorly

I don't know if I missed this somewhere in the video or if it's answered somewhere in the comment section, but what do I do about a scenario that I've never played? Should I just do 5 or 10 runs while aiming for a pb, then start implementing score thresholds next time?

Been doin this for a bit, hit 1st gm score after 6 months. Love the elite difficulty stuff. Sucks at first but then becomes reasonable

Should I play one scenario for 2 hours ? if I don't hit the high score or should I play one scenario for lets say 10 minutes and move to the next scenario even If I didn't hit high score on previous scenario.

Hey matty. Would you ever make a video on the topic of transferability of raw aim in aim trainers to aim in games (if you haven’t already)?

I find my raw aim is much better in Kovaaks and is very consistent, yet when I go into games the consistency decreases tremendously.

Of course there are many more specific mechanics in games to worry about, which absolutely contributes, but I still feel like my raw mouse control while playing games simply isn’t as good.

Any thoughts?

I would add a 3-5 min medium/hard level warmup for your mucles rather than going directly into score chasing reset mode.
