I had never seen or heard of it and yet ppl have so many names for it. The more you learn, the more you find how little you know about the world.

recently I been eating this .its called coconut flower in my place and its really good

It's mudi in Maldivian. In Maldives the coconut palm has a role in every part of it which means we don't throw away an inch too including the roots and that's why coconut palm becomes our national tree.

We people from Kerala in India also know this.... Because the name Kerala literally means land of coconut tree

It's called " Thenga poo " in Tamilnadu 🌴🥥 it's just a sprouted coconut basically 😊

Here in brazil we call it "coconut apple" and it's actually very similar to an apple. Taste, smell, texture... But still reminds you coconut

In Kerala it's called "thega pongu"

Yeah we call that the "coconut heart" back home on Roatan, Honduras

So let me ask ppl who know... I live in America. Have bought a coconut before and lost it in the back of the fridge for a long time only to toss it upon discovery. Will store bought coconuts ever germinate like this, & did I possibly THROW AWAY one of these sprouts?!
