Ducks Lite - May this be love (Jimi Hendrix)

We are a Swedish band who specializes in the music of Jimi Hendrix.
For many years we were known as “Ducks Can Groove” and toured in Sweden and overseas.

We have now created a lighter version of the band and have added a vocalist to the trio and now call ourselves “Ducks Lite”. We play our own version of Jimi’s music incorporating a slightly jazzier and bluesier feeling but staying close to Jimi’s sound.

Our Guitarist Stefan Edfeldt has a deep knowledge of Jimi’s playing style, career, and sound.

The Ducks have played shows with Jimi’s brother Leon and have also played alongside musicians that worked with Jimi himself. On many occasions over a 10-year period the Ducks played the annual Jimi Hendrix Birthday Concerts at BB Kings Blues Club in Manhattan NYC along with other talented musicians.

The Band’s members all have their roots in Jamtland in Northern Sweden. Sandra Persson on vocal, Stefan Edfeldt on Guitar, Fredrik Eriksson on double bass and Dan West on drums.
