Over the last few months I (with no gown/corset making experience) endeavoured to design, sew & embellish my dream wedding dress! It was a very challenging project, but greatly rewarding too. In this video I break down all of the details & show some glimpses into our wedding day!!

I had the exact same problem with bugs and tulle!!! I got married outside and my skirt had many layers of tulle and my mom kept helping me take the little bugs out of my skirt. I’m just glad none of them showed up in pictures hahaha 😂

Our granddaughter (shes 4 1/2) has a phobia of bugs. She went outside in a yellow tulle dress up dress last week and let me tell you the screams were blood curling 😂 I thought she'd hurt herself or someone was kidnapping her from the backyard but noooo it was bugs, bugs stuck in her tulle yellow dress up dress. We tried our very best not to laugh at her all the while validating her fears of bugs. She has refused to wear that particular dress again. Sorry for the long winded story but I totally feel you on the bugs in tulle.

Oh wow. My partner and I are at the stage where we are talking about getting married and every time I go online to try to get some wedding planning inspo I just get so overwhelmed with all of the details that everyone says you “need” to do. Then I saw you talk about your wedding and it just seemed so.. fun! It really made me realize that my wedding can just be what i want it to be and not what everyone says it needs to be.
