I'm a Pharmacist in my African country and in 2022 I accepted a job offer that brought me to work in a very remote/rural place in my country. I have been praying and asking God to give me another job in the big cities. But listening to this I'm just in tears 😭😭😭
I have never even bothered to ask God my purpose in this place, I just wanna up and go to the big cities... Lord have mercy.

I don’t know what’s happening to me today, December 4th, 2024. This morning, I woke up with the expectation that God would judge me harshly. I grabbed my Bible but couldn’t think of any scripture to read. Instead, I opened it randomly, hoping to see the judgment God had for me.

On top of that, I have a lot of law assignments to complete for the Bar exams. Yet, instead of settling down to work on them, I found myself watching Dear Future Wifey. I have no idea why, especially with so many pending tasks.

Every time I watch the Dear Future Wifey podcast, I notice a particular woman in the intro talking about why God created us. Well, today, she appeared on the full episode I watched.

That episode changed my life. September Black made me realize something profound: if you don’t hear God’s voice, don’t make a decision. I wish I had seen this episode before I agreed to let someone move in with me. It wasn’t about love or a relationship; it was about unknowingly allowing the enemy to gain access to my home. I now see that I didn’t consult God before making that decision.

I feel sad because I’ve been disobedient to God so many times. Sometimes, it feels like I’m too far gone. But listening to September Black gave me hope. She reminded me that only God’s word can transform me. She encouraged me to treat the word of God like food, consuming it daily so my life can be spared by His grace.
