You can get a high quality leather bag for a fraction of the price. I have one from Spain and it’s held up so nicely. It will last you as long if not longer. Designer does not equal high quality anymore.

Same!!! Also it’s made out of different materials than just leather, I believe it’s type of synthetic that lasts forever obviously!

In 20 years, I've had 5 tote bags. All denim, all less than $10. I've only replaced cause of preference for something new. She doesn't have to have a reason for splurging, but FFS don't pretend my $20 didn't give me equal value to her multi-thousands name brand.

I had a hello kitty wallet that ripped in 6 month. I currently still have a LV wallet for almost a decade. I think I made a good investment. I just need to convince myself to not replace it just bc it’s old lol

Maybe you got lucky. My ex wife bought a LV bag from the actual retailer in the mall for more than $1K and the straps broke off within a year. IMO, the brand is all look and no substance.
