I live in constant fear. The silence amplifies the sheer anxiety I feel from not knowing when the next reverb fard will play. Each time it does, due to my lack of prior anticipation, it frightens me, even if for a brief moment. What horrifies me most is that the reverb fard plays once, before hiding once more in the shadows of auditory silence, preparing to strike again at a moment I fail to anticipate.

I put this on while my friend was sleeping. I watched his eyes slowly slip behind his eyelids. As his body relaxed and accepted his brains invitation to the sweet sanctity of sleep. The reverb fard shook him from his sleep and slitting his connection to his soon to be dreams. He jolted out of peacefulness and in to terror frantically searching for the threat. But their was no threat. Their was nothing. Only reverb fard.
