We used the same lights as you from a link a few years ago, we run 6 in our bus our on a dimmer and the setting we usually use is 5-6w according to our Victron smart shunt and we probably use them 1-2 hours a day in the summer 3-4 hours a day in the winter.

So summertime high side 6w 120 minutes would be 12wh /12v = 1ah or 0.5% of our 200ah li batteries.

Wintertime would be 6w 480min /60 = 48wh/12v=4ah or 2% of our 200ah li batteries.

Hi Nate, I have a 2020 Winneboga RV and I was wondering if you help people to install solar panel 🙏🙏

Awesome information, thanks for that!

Question: if a device needs to stay on for 24/7 such as security equipment, do you still need to use the same formula for power consumption as talked at the beginning of the video?
Or is it ok to just do wattage x hours to get watt hours without having to divide by 60 in this particular situatio?

Another great video, I can see now how to calculate usage, I will have two 12 volt 70 ah batteries in parallel running a 3000 watt inverter. I plan to run a 750 watt pillar drill for less than two minutes on and off.

I have 50ftx2 Govee H613, 1% bright 3 watts, 100% 34 watts . .072 kw per day to .792 kw over 24hrs. 48kw battery can run the lights all day for 58 days. Add fridge freezer tv cpu and heater 3 days.

Hi Nate, can we do a little swap?
I would be honoured to have a comment from my electric Guru under my video! So we'll both get rich and one day become respected business partners in RV heaven; ) !✌
