There has been a bunch of discussion about "weapons of war" being available to civilians, and more whining about getting an assault weaons ban. Now the lefties are using the term "weapons of war". Sorry to bust your bubble, but "weapons of war" are NOT available to civialians. If people are referring to the AR style platform as a "weapon of war", they are very mistaken. An AR is semi-auto, just as some shotguns are. An M4 (military grade of an AR platform), is manfactured in semi, and full auto, but is only available to the military. A typical (civilian AR), which is only designed for semi-auto is not a "weapon of war". There are specific weapon systems for that purpose. It is not expected that many people will understand this, but they are the facts
