I like the glasses bc I already have them and yes they are durable and easy to hold bc of the tapered bottom. I Don’t need the storage. I already have built ins but you youngins need to listen to lisa about using ikea to do built ins.just watch for wet areas if these are mdf or particle board. You can put them on legs but tie them to the wall with straps or screws so they don’t topple. Nice work Lisa!

I put two of the besta white cabinets together and bought the glass tops for added beauty and protection. I then added the stainless steel feet from Ikea. The doors were the matte textured doors. I now have a huge console that my 50 inch tv rests upon, all against a gallery wall of black and white photos. The look always gets tons of complements. I bought the besta four years ago and it still looks brand new.

I used a couple of storage benches, a storage ottoman for the corner and a couple of dining chairs for a dining nook.
I added a bunch of toss pillows from Aldi! Now I have a place for my stick blender!!! Yay!😄😄😄

Lisa, thank you so much for sharing your experience and knowledge. I watch ur videos all the time and you have helped me so much especially with your IKEA series. I absolutely dread to go to IKEA as I get sensory overload very quickly and you are so awesome to pick out pieces that look expensive but are on a budget. In one of your videos you talked about leather cabinet handles. I added them to my nursery and it made a massive impact on the cabinets. You are by far my absolute favourite YouTuber and you helped me realise just how important is to have designer for all house renovations. I realised my limits without making expensive mistakes and now I always consult professional experts. It saved money and the results were amazing. You are so talented and I am so greatfull for all your videos. Loads of love from Belgrade/Serbia ❤

Hemnes shoe drop paired with Hemnes medicine cabinet in a small bathroom for extra storage. Have a piece of smoked glass cut to go on top of the shoerack and around the base of the medicine cabinet (you mount it right on top of the shoe rack). The colors aren't identical white, but I painted mine a French blue. Looked really great and wow, could I fit a lot (spare shampoos etc. fit perfectly; hair dryer etc.)

That IKEA shoe case is the absolute best, I buy the bigger version, line my hallway in them, the hide so much sin, I take out the middle liner in it and my son's school bag fits perfectly along with other stuff.
So down my hallway I've got shoes in 2 school stuff in one. My bags in another, voila instant tidy.

the polka glasses remind me so much of the cantine glasses we had at school growing up, it was also in every home in the 80's a, d90's and it had a number at the bottom that would be your age for the duration of the meal, and ther would be game with whom had the highest or lowest number would be the one getting the water refill or cleaning the table afterward. This glass was indeed a classic in france!

Happy Holidays! You are looking particularly well. The shoe storage for a small space, like at an entryway, is a great option. I can personally testify to the advantages of under-the-bed storage drawers in spaces with little room for a chest-of-drawers.
