I see what you mean. I myself think the New 52 is one of the best things DC could have done. I know a bunch of people who havent read comics and they dont feel like reading all those issues, and they arent attracted to the old outdated artistic style.

New 52 makes it much more accesable.
A relatively new storyline, fresh new and modern artistic style. And a fresh start without having to read thousands of issues.

And i love the idea of Kryptonian armor, its not too big, just perfect.

Actually many films are a commentary on society and the government. The character shared between those who can relate. The hero's journey, good vs evil. Look beyond the lines of dialogue and the big action sequences, and you'll find a much deeper message in movies like Man of Steel.

Well. I have an explanation about Lois and Jor-El standing next to each other. As they show in the trailers Lois tries to truck down the fugitive with super human abilities and she actually finds the Fortress of Solitude before him sooo guess see meets the interactive hologram of Zor-El who informs her about his son. (interactive comes with different thoughs :P) Also in the movie comic the Fortress is actually a ship who crushed on Earth thousand years before. Maybe the ship of Zod's father.

For everyone who doesn't know. Krypton and Jor El both die, but Jor El is just a hologram in this movie as well as he is in the others. I'm pretty positive that this movie is just starting off Superman and the sequel will be him working at The Daily Planet as everyone in Metropolis knows who Superman is and how he's a hero. But I may be wrong.

Well said.I could'nt have put it better myself.The Egyptians and Greeks had their myths of Gods, Titans and other strange beings.The Grimms gave us Fairy Tales.Now for the past 75 years men like Stan Lee, Bob Kane, Siegel and Shuster have created amazing stories that have inspired the past few generations.Even stories from mediums like film, television or video games have inspired people all ages.They have and always will.

Ok the cool things here were Jor El upper cutting ZOD and Lois zapping somone with a lazer the inevitable "NOOOO" that all movies have ...but said by ZOD as superman is flown off of krypton.
