I think it's more like concrete, the foam is weak but the cells are strong so the whole pack is stronger under compression because the stress is directly transmitted from cell to cell.
The top and bottom sheets are used to prestress the pack.

It was nice to hear about reliability expectations, and also level setting expectations for weight savings. Improvements as well. And the discussion on CT chemistry and pack size.

That said, 90% of Munroe 4680 videos seem to be dissuading people from attempting to disassembling the pack and advertising for their reports.

And that's fine, but there doesn't seem to be as much info for the portion of their audience that are investors.

That's only a problem if their audience is mostly investors AND if they care more about views and subs, that they do about impact on their business.

PS The fund raised plaid tear down had much more info, which was a nice perk for people that contributed.
