A collective formed by Claudio Oliveira on drums, Thiago Duarte on Bass, Marcus Almeida on guitars and Leo Vraulid on piano.
This instrumental trio creates a dynamic atmosphere saturated with Brazilian soul, vitality and warm sound exploring Brazilian music and Jazz standards. Claudio Oliveira began studying while in his teens in São Paulo. He later studied with Dirceu Medeiros in São Paulo and then at L.A.M.A (Los Angeles Music Academy) with recognized teachers like Ralph Humphrey and Mike Packer. He has also played in concerts in United States, France, Portugal, England, Uruguay and Spain.
Thiago Duarte holds a bachelor's degree in music and a master's degree in education music cognition, both from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). Acts as an electric and acoustic bass player in Brazilian, jazz and Cuban music. Has worked as a professor of electric bass in the extension course Práticas musicais of the department of Arts at the Federal University of Paraná from 2011 until 2016.
He has performed with Romero Lubambo, Baptiste Herbin, Leitieres Leite, Idriss Boudrioua, Mauro Senise, Filó Machado, Leo Gandelman, Edu Ribeiro, Fabio Torres, Artur Dutkiewicz, Gabriel Pensador, Jane Dubok, Nailor Proveta, François de Lima, Cuca Teixeira, Daniel D'alcantara, Jorginho Trompete,Roberto Sion, Orchestra at Sopro de Curitiba, Derico Scioti, Anaí Rosa, Tao do Trio, Marco Lobo, Marcos Nimrichter, Cláudio Zóli, Zé Luiz Mazziotti, Fernanda Abreu , Cláudio Infante, Taryn Spilmann, Marco Lobo, Ary Piassarolo, Michele Mara, Maricel Iris, Alex Corrêa, Endrigo Bettega, Jeff Sabbag, Hélio Brandão,and Texan Blues singer Jai Malano, among others.
Leo Vraulid is Young Portuguese-French Pianist and Composer. He started playing Piano at the age of 7. He then joined the Albufeira’s Conservatory, where he studied performance in classical music until he was 16. That’s when he started to study jazz at the Professional Course of Jazz Performer at Bemposta (Portugal), graduating with honors. In that same year he won two honorary prizes at the prestigious Nacional Competition of the Festival “Festa do Jazz”(São Luiz theater) and continued studying jazz with the celeritous Jazz musician and teacher Zé Eduardo (one of the most important names in Iberian Jazz). Leo’s got plenty of experience as a performer in different projects both as soloist as well as accompanist with several well known musicians.He has also worked as teaching assistant for Pianist and Professor Pablo Lapidusas.
