The passage related to World Happiness Index was not complete in my case. Only one paragraph was there. Many other students also faced the same.

Part B - was tough. There were SO MANY questions from indian translation texts & indiaj authors actually.

Paper Kaafi confusing tha and very lengthy. .. simple questions were very few...it was flooded with matching, assertion and paragraph question..Mein jitna vi padh ke gyi exam se pehle Kuch kaam ni aaya...it was as if ...nivi Padhte to same marks aayega..almost ugc net me jaisa questions aata exactly usi pattern ko follow Kiya tha

Part b was very tough. The pattern was like net jrf....it was too tricky and confusing . Also there were many spelling error. The passage was not complete, there were incomplete questions. Terrible experience. Nta is really playing with our future

Okay, so I attempted 87 out of 100 questions, 66 out of 75 for domain (part B) and 21 questions for Part A. Part B was arguably on the difficult end because questions were asked from obscure places, even when it came to History of English Literature. Plus there were several questions from awards and translations. Criticism questions were not very easy apart from the books and authors bit. The questions, more than having been difficult, were tricky enough to obfuscate students under pressure.


I do not know how much I'll score but I know that I perhaps won't get into my desired universities which is besides the point. Last year's paper is not a good reference point for this year's. Also, having had solved JNUMA and DUET entrance papers, I'd like to add that this paper seemed more perplexing to me than those did.
