Tropical Update, Caribbean Tropical Storm Patty Imminent? Hurricane Potential Also Increasing!

***Tropical Update...Watching the Caribbean as Tropical Storm Patty is imminent as we progress late this week into next weekend! This storm is likely to spread heavy flooding rains from Central America all the way through most of the Caribbean Islands northward to Bahamas. Does this storm still have a chance to impact Florida or anywhere in the east coast or Gulf. I have complete details on how strong this storm could become, and potential paths it could take!
***Western Pacific Tropical Storm Kong-rey is likely to become a major typhoon and threat Taiwan, and Tropical Depression Trami is still spreading life threatening flooding rain. Full details, plus a tropical system could impact Hawaii later this week?

Dude. I am scheduled to be in the FL keys from Nov 3rd to 10th. Do I have to worry about the tropical potential hurricane? No swimming, so I plan to stay dry.

So it looks like we could have another tropical system come the first week of November, but I would advise everybody if you’re planning on taking a vacation or even a cruise to the Caribbean, please continue to monitor the weather and if this forms monitor the progress of it as well. It’s too early to say where this will go but I would advise people from the south East Coast of the United States or in the Caribbean and even into Mexico to monitor this system because the ultimate track is going to depend on these fronts and these blocking high. Patterns as well as the jetstream. But I will sayin the New York metro area we could have a very good chance of having a rain free October because we’ve been in a blocking high pattern. But a potential track towards the southeast United States or Florida with this potential tropical system, however, cannot be ruled out at this early juncture. I think we might be lucky that we could end up 2024 that we could have no landfall in the northeast but we’ll have to see what 2025 brings. Because we do have to prepare every year as if we’re gonna get the big one. Because 12 years ago on Tuesday, Superstorm Sandy the Northeast it made landfall in Atlantic County New Jersey as a 946 mbar pressure system that’s the lowest pressure recorded ever recorded New Jersey since at least since the 19th century.
